Meet the Tailoress & Creative Designer

Thanks for visiting my site!   I'm Trakeia Williams, the Tailoress & Creative Designer behind Tailoressed!  I have a passion for plus size clients as I have been plus sized since I was a young girl.  I love creating unique pieces that complement the body.  I’ve loved working with my hands since I fell in love with the art of sewing at the age of 10 years old.  I have formally been trained in alterations through the Alteration Specialty Apprenticeship program. I'm now certified as an Alterations Specialist through the TN Department of Labor.  Among the things I've done on the Fashion scene includes working with celebrity designer, Rachel Roy, for her 2018 Runway in Memphis Fashion Week hosted in Memphis, TN.  Thankful to have won the award for Emerging Designer with Memphis Fashion Week Singles collection of 2019.  God has given me the gift of creativity.
